In the PICARD online shop you can configure your desired rail, shaft or threaded spindle quickly and easily to meet your customer’s requirements. The specialist personnel in our in-house Linear Motion Technology Centre then precisely cut your linear motion articles to length and package them professionally. This service is included in the price of your order. If we receive your order before 19:00 CET, your goods will even be dispatched on the same day.

The configurator is exceedingly easy to use:

1. First of all select a linear motion product and then click on the symbol for the linear motion technology configurator under “Order”. This opens the configuration screen.

2. Now enter the desired quantity of the article.

3. In the next step define the required length or, alternatively, select the maximum length in stock in each case. If you have selected shafts or spindles, the configuration is already complete after this step.

4. To select the rails, enter the distance to the first hole (in mm) in the field provided. Here you have the option of configuring the distance to the first hole and the distance after the last hole so that they are symmetrical.

5. You can now check the availability by clicking on the corresponding field and place your linear motion article in the shopping basket. Finished!

ORIENTATION AID:

In the configurator you will find a corresponding technical drawing for every linear motion article with front and side views. The markings help you to determine the dimensions and distances of the article. All designations are manufacturer-specific.

Rails: The height, width and standard hole spacing are always given in the technical drawings of the rails. In addition, the drawings show the holes in each case (e.g. through holes and threaded blind holes on the underside). All rails cut to length by PICARD are delivered with a chamfer, making it easier to insert the carriages and thus protecting tight-fitting seals. The matching plastic caps are supplied for every rail as standard.

Shafts: In the case of shafts, the diameter of each product is shown.

Threaded spindles: The threaded spindles are also shown with diameter. In addition, you will find information here on whether the spindles have a right-hand or a left-hand thread.
